We are shutting down Netmails.NET email service on May 1, 2010. After May 1st, we will forward incoming email to an external email address you choose for another 6 months. Please obtain an email service elsewhere and update your contacts. We will only be forwarding email for those who explicitly request us to do so by emailing support@netmails.net

The service will continue to work from now till May 1st. After May 1st, you will no longer be able to login, create, or lookup aliases or read any email stored on our servers. We suggest downloading any email left on our servers using IMAP (pop3 is not available). Thunderbird is a free email client that can download emails via IMAP (connect to imap.netmails.net)

If you are technically savvy and can get your own domain, Google Apps Standard Edition (free) might be interesting to you. Google Apps includes limited support for "aliases" (10 aliases per account) with better spam protection. You might also find some alternatives here
